1. QUOTES / INVOICES
All quotes provided are valid for 5 days from the issuance date, unless otherwise specified in writing on your quote. Please note that a quote does not confirm a booking until a deposit has been paid.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all details listed on a quote – products, equipment, and services – are accurate and reflect their requests before making a deposit.
Should the client need any changes or adjustments to the issued quote/invoice, these should be communicated in writing to Up Events within a reasonable timeframe (preferably 30 days) before the event date to ensure feasibility. Any alterations to the original quote/invoice are subject to availability and the rights of our suppliers or third-party contractors, if applicable.
An invoice will be generated for the client once a quote is accepted. Invoices are valid for 5 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise specified on your invoice.
For all our Luxe Balloon Garlands, we depend on the availability and stock from our suppliers. If the quoted sizes and colors are not in stock or face shipping delays, a suitable alternative will be offered and agreed upon with the client.
A chrome color selection for our Luxe Balloon Garlands incurs an additional fee, as specified in your quote/invoice (e.g., Chrome Reflex Gold, Silver, or Champagne). The extra charge will be based on the number and sizes of balloons required.
The minimum order for our Luxe Balloon Garlands is 2 meters, with pricing based per meter.
Bookings are confirmed only upon payment of a non-refundable 50% deposit after an invoice is issued. This secures your event date and the requested services with Up Events.
Changes to the event date after a deposit is paid are subject to availability. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new event date if applicable. Any changes to event date, services, equipment, or products must be made in writing to Up Events and are subject to availability and approval at our discretion.
Equipment/products hired for an event are for use only during the event duration unless stated otherwise in the quote/invoice. Items will be provided before the event start and collected after the event concludes at a time arranged between Up Events and the client. The client must ensure the event location is accessible for Up Events staff to deliver, style, and set up as needed. The required styling time will be communicated to the client upon booking confirmation.
For DIY equipment hire, all items must be collected within 24 hours before the event start date/time and returned promptly within 24 hours after the event ends. Additional charges may apply for late returns and will be treated as an extension of the hire period.
Delivery, installation, and collection of products/equipment are scheduled between 06:30 and 20:00 unless previously arranged with Up Events. Services outside these hours may incur additional charges. Refer to our after-hours rates on our Home Page under Pricing.
All outstanding balances must be paid 7 days before the event date. For Wedding Ceremonies/Receptions, the outstanding balance is due 14 days prior to the event. Failure to make payments within the required timeframe may result in booking cancellation by Up Events.
2. EQUIPMENT / PROP HIRE
Equipment/Prop Hire is intended for use during the event duration as specified in your quote/invoice.
The client is responsible for using the items correctly, following instructions provided by Up Events, and is liable for any damage or loss during the hire period.
The client agrees to pay the full replacement cost of any equipment that is lost, stolen, destroyed, damaged, or not returned, including any associated packaging, storage crates, bags, or bubble wrap.
Replacement or repair costs, if applicable, will be based on current pricing at the time the damage occurred.
A bond may be required for certain equipment/prop hires, assessed on a case-by-case basis. The bond amount will be determined by the requested services and listed on your invoice. If a bond is required, a full refund will be processed once the equipment/prop is returned.
3. CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be communicated in writing to Up Events. Fees and charges may apply if the event is canceled indefinitely and not rescheduled. If a 50% deposit has been paid, the client will forfeit this amount as all deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations made in writing 14 days or less before the event date, where the full invoice amount has been paid, will result in forfeiture of the amount paid to Up Events. If third-party contractors were booked for the event, the client will be subject to their terms and conditions regarding cancellation and refunds.
Refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Up Events. This policy is due to the pre-ordering of items, some of which are personalized and cannot be reused or sold to another party.
Changes or cancellations made within 24 hrs. of the event will forfeit all money and must be paid in full
4. COPYRIGHT
All designs, mock-ups, and customized artwork remain the property of Up Events unless stated otherwise on your quote/invoice. Unauthorized use or replication constitutes a breach of Australian Copyright Laws. Prior permission to use Up Events’ logo must be obtained; all proposed artwork must be authorized in writing by Up Events.
The client grants permission for photos/videos of the event to be used unless previously agreed otherwise. These photos will be shared on our social media platforms and websites to showcase our creations.
5. PAYMENTS
All outstanding balances must be paid 7 days before the event date. For Wedding Ceremonies/Receptions, the outstanding balance is due 14 days before the event. Failure to make payments within the required timeframe may result in booking cancellation by Up Events.
All payments must be made via bank transfer or Cash. Details will be provided on the quote/invoices sent to the client. Proof of payment may be required to confirm timely transactions.
Up Events does not store, save, or share your financial institution or personal details with any third party. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that bank transfers to Up Events are made from a secure device with adequate online security protection.
The client agrees not to store, save, or share Up Events’ financial institution details with any third party. Failure to comply may result in legal action.
